EFL MP3 and STUFFFor those not in the know . . . I am Brian David Phillips, a relatively nice guy, also known as the Meiguo Langren Zai Taibei which translates from the Mandarin Chinese to An American Werewolf in Taipei, a moniker I've used for years . . . well since late 1989 in any case (albeit I didn't actually move permanently to Taipei from central Taiwan until 1990).
I don't actually have an About Me page on this site as yet except for a brief blurb in the About Me section of the Life of Brian pages. However, this hodgepodge of stuff should tell you a little bit about me and my rather eclectic interests anyway and if you really want to know about me, just read my blog at http://briandavidphillips.typepad.com/brian/ or take a peek at my photoblog at http://public.fotki.com/briandavidphillips/.
In brief, I am an Associate Professor in the English Department at National Chengchi University in Taipei, Taiwan (Republic of China). My doctorate (Ph.D.) is in English/Comparative Literature from National Taiwan University (1998), while my M.A. is in Theatre/Communication from Pittsburg State University (1989, Phi Kappa Phi honors graduate), and my B.A. is in Speech and Drama from Kansas Wesleyan University (1987. Hall of Fame recipient). I am happily married to a beautiful wife with a lovely daughter, both of whom I love very much. I am also a Board Certified Hypnotist (Certified Hypnotherapist) so if you are in the Taipei area and would like to schedule a session with me or book a show, feel free to drop me an email.
